Nowhere man

Next stop Uyuni!  In the south part of Bolivia next to Chile there is some of the most amazing landscape including the famous salt flats. So I trekked down to take a 3 day tour via jeep. 

Also a good time to introduce 3 Austrailian girls (Juliet, Naomi, and Maddie).  They were in my group during the Machu Picchu trek and realized we would be in La Paz at the same time and heading down to the salt flats.  We reconnected in Puno and traveled down to Uyuni together.  They´re great fun and easy to joke around with immediately letting me assume the role of big brother.  Plus they have a ton of energy.  They were rarely back at our hostal in La Paz at 9am each morning.  Here they are in the Train Cemetary at Uyuni.
